What is a good Typeform alternative when you need honest feedback?

If the problem is honesty rather than the look of the form, Clearvoyance is an alternative to Typeform for feedback. People answer a few open questions by voice or text, no answer can be linked to the person who gave it, and results unlock only once a group has answered. You pay once per campaign, $4.99 to $49.99, with no monthly plan, and get every transcript plus an AI report. Typeform remains better for identified forms, logic jumps and integrations.

The problem a nicer form does not fix

Typeform is good at what it is for. One question per screen, a design that matches your brand, logic that skips what does not apply, and a lead that arrives with a name and an email address attached. If you need a form, it is a fine form.

Feedback is a different problem. When a customer or an employee is asked what they really think, the thing that decides the answer is whether they believe it can be traced back to them. A form that arrives from your own account, asks for an email address, or shows up with your branding is a form people are polite to. The answers you get are the answers people are comfortable signing.

Clearvoyance is built for that one case. Each answer is stored with no link to the person who gave it; there is no column that could hold one. The organisation never sees an email address beside any activity. Recordings are transcribed and discarded, never stored. Anonymity is not a setting you promise, it is how the thing is made.

How it works when people answer out loud

  • You write up to 10 open questions in English. No logic, no ratings, no multiple choice: questions a person can answer in their own words.
  • People open the link on a phone or computer. No account, no app, no name. They answer each question out loud, or choose "I prefer text" and type; every typed question offers "Use microphone instead".
  • They read the transcript, can edit it, and submit. Once submitted an answer is locked.
  • You watch the participation count rise, but no individual answer is visible until the campaign unlocks: five answers on an open link, or the share of a targeted list you chose, never below half.
  • When it unlocks you get every transcript at once, plus an AI report.

Pay once per campaign, not per month

There is no plan, no seat and no quota that resets each month. You choose the size of one campaign and pay for it once, by card or from a Seeker wallet. An open link closes by itself at a cap of 10, 50, 100 or 200 answers: $4.99, $17.99, $29.99 or $49.99. A targeted campaign is priced by the number of email addresses you paste, from $4.99 for 10 people to $49.99 for up to 200. The price is not refunded if fewer people answer.

Before you spend anything there is a free self-test: you invite your own inbox, answer as a participant, and see both sides. If you run feedback three or four times a year, a flat price per run is usually what you want; if you run surveys every week, compare it against a subscription.

A report, not a spreadsheet

A form hands you a table with one row per response, and the work of reading it. Clearvoyance hands you the reading: an AI report with the themes, the sentiment, representative quotes and an executive summary, alongside every transcript. If you want the table too, the transcripts export as CSV.

Answers and the report are deleted 30 days after the campaign closes, so export what you want to keep before then. Nothing accumulates in an account.

Running both: Typeform for the form, Clearvoyance for the feedback

  • Keep Typeform for the jobs that need a name: lead capture, registrations, order forms, applications.
  • Put a Clearvoyance open link where customers already read you: the order confirmation, the receipt, the newsletter, your email signature, a QR code at the counter. Optionally add a thank-you shown after someone answers, such as a code for their next order.
  • For a known group, staff, members, a client list, paste 10 to 200 email addresses and each person gets their own invitation from clearvoyance.ai. The list is deleted once the invitations are queued unless you choose to save it.
  • If you use an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, it can draft the questions and prepare the campaign through the Clearvoyance connector at clearvoyance.ai/connect; you pay on the website.
  • Comparing against SurveyMonkey as well? That page is at clearvoyance.ai/surveymonkey-alternative.

When Typeform is the better choice

  • You need logic jumps, branching, calculations or a quiz.
  • The look of the form matters to the result, and you want it to match your brand exactly.
  • You need to know who answered: leads, bookings, registrations, orders.
  • You want each response to flow into another tool as it arrives; Typeform typically integrates with many, Clearvoyance offers a CSV and the AI connector.
  • You need languages other than English, or more than 10 questions.
  • You run many surveys a month and want to see responses one by one as they come in.

Questions

Can I keep using Typeform for lead forms and use Clearvoyance for feedback?

Yes, and that is the usual arrangement. Typeform collects the identified answers you need a name on; Clearvoyance collects the honest ones nobody can be identified from. They do not need to connect to each other.

How many questions can I ask?

Up to 10 per campaign, all open questions in English. Most feedback campaigns need fewer; three or four is comfortable to answer on a phone.

Do people need an account to answer?

No. They open the link on a phone or computer, answer out loud or in text, check the transcript and submit. Nothing to install and no name to give.

What does the report contain?

The themes across the answers, the sentiment, representative quotes and an executive summary, plus every transcript in full. Transcripts export as CSV. The report and answers are deleted 30 days after the campaign closes.

What does it cost compared with a Typeform plan?

Clearvoyance has no plan: one flat price per campaign, paid once. An open link costs $4.99 for up to 10 answers, $17.99 for 50, $29.99 for 100 and $49.99 for 200; a targeted list costs $4.99 for 10 people up to $49.99 for 200. Typeform typically charges a monthly subscription; check its current pricing.
