Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 26/09/2026

Clearvoyance.ai ("Clearvoyance", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting privacy and handling data responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, stored, disclosed, and protected when you access or use the Clearvoyance.ai platform, website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the practices described herein.

Privacy by Design

Clearvoyance is designed with privacy as a foundational principle. The Service enables the collection of feedback while minimising the linkage between responses and personal identity. Nevertheless, certain information is required to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Information We Collect

Clearvoyance may collect information provided directly by users, including but not limited to email addresses, campaign configuration details, communications, and support inquiries. This information is used for account access, operational communication, service delivery, security, and compliance purposes.

API-Key Accounts and Balances

An account opened through the API needs no name, email address or other personal details. For each account we store a one-way hash of its API key (never the key itself), the first characters of the key so you can recognise it, an optional label you choose, any wallet addresses you declare for top-ups or recovery, the balance, and a ledger of every top-up, charge and refund.

When you pay by card, Stripe collects your card details and billing email under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number. We keep the Stripe session reference and the amount. When you fund a campaign's rewards in crypto, we keep the transaction signature and the wallet it came from, which are already public on the Solana blockchain, so that unclaimed rewards can be returned to that wallet.

Ledger records are financial records. They are not part of the 30-day campaign deletion and are kept for as long as the account exists and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records.

Participant Data

Participants who submit responses to campaigns may provide written or audio responses and may optionally provide a wallet address for reward distribution. Clearvoyance does not require participants to create accounts. Responses are processed and stored in a manner intended to prevent attribution of individual responses to identifiable individuals by campaign creators. Clearvoyance does not disclose participant email addresses, wallet addresses, or other identifying information to campaign creators.

Response Handling

Responses submitted through the Service are stored securely and are accessible to campaign creators only upon campaign completion or satisfaction of predefined campaign conditions. Campaign creators receive the collected responses and any generated insights, but not information identifying which participant submitted a particular response.

Data Use

Clearvoyance does not sell personal data. Clearvoyance does not use participant responses for advertising or marketing purposes. Clearvoyance may use anonymised, aggregated, or de-identified data for internal analytics, service improvement, research, or reporting purposes.

Blockchain and Wallet Data

The Service may use cryptographic systems, escrow mechanisms, or blockchain infrastructure to facilitate rewards or incentives. Public blockchain transactions are inherently transparent and may be viewable by third parties. Clearvoyance does not control public blockchain networks and is not responsible for data visibility inherent to such networks. Users acknowledge that wallet addresses and transaction data may be publicly accessible on the blockchain.

Clearvoyance never creates a wallet for you and never holds your wallet's keys: you pay from, and receive rewards to, a Solana address you control. Each reward-paying campaign gets its own escrow wallet, so no single wallet ever holds everyone's rewards. Clearvoyance holds that escrow's keys, encrypted, and the escrow pays a reward only after a participant's submission succeeds. Users are solely responsible for the security and management of their own wallets and credentials.

Technical Data

Clearvoyance may automatically collect limited technical information, including IP addresses, device information, browser type, timestamps, and usage data, for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and performance monitoring. This information is not used to identify individual participants in campaign responses.

Third-Party Providers

The Service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, AI processing, blockchain access, and payment services. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services to Clearvoyance and are subject to contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations. Clearvoyance is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services not controlled by Clearvoyance.

Connected AI Assistants

You can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your Clearvoyance account. This happens only when you sign in to Clearvoyance and choose Allow on our consent page. Once connected, the assistant can create campaign drafts in your account and read your campaigns, their answers once the campaign's privacy threshold is met, and their AI reports. It can close a campaign or delete an unpaid draft when you ask it to. It cannot pay for anything or move money: payment only ever happens on clearvoyance.ai.

We receive only what the assistant sends through these tools, such as a campaign's title and questions. We do not receive or store your conversations with the assistant; the assistant provider's own privacy policy governs those. Access credentials are stored only in hashed form. You can disconnect an assistant at any time under Connected apps on your dashboard, and its access ends immediately. Voice transcription and AI reports are processed by OpenAI.

Legal Disclosure

Clearvoyance may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if reasonably necessary to enforce terms, protect rights, prevent fraud or abuse, or ensure the safety of users or the public.

Security

Clearvoyance implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and Clearvoyance cannot warrant absolute security.

Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Campaign data may be retained for auditability, reporting, or user access unless deleted or anonymised in accordance with applicable policies.

Your Rights

Depending on jurisdiction, users may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information. Requests may be submitted to [email protected]. Certain data may not be deletable where retention is required by law or necessary for the operation of the Service.

Children

The Service is not intended for children. Clearvoyance does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of eighteen (18).

Changes to This Policy

Clearvoyance may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
