Voice surveys: let people say it instead of typing it
A voice survey asks people to answer out loud instead of typing. With Clearvoyance, each person speaks their answer on their phone, reads the AI transcript and can correct it, then sends. The recording is discarded and only the text is kept. You get every transcript and an AI report of the themes, sentiment and quotes.
Why spoken answers are better
- People say three or four sentences in the time it takes to type one, so you get the reason, not just the rating.
- Tone and hesitation come through in the wording: "it was fine, I suppose" reads very differently from "it was fine".
- It is quicker on a phone, which is where most people open a survey link.
- Frustrated feedback, often the most useful kind, is easier to say than to write down.
What happens to the recording
The audio is sent for transcription and then discarded; the database has no place to store it. The person sees the transcript before sending and can edit it, for example to remove a name. Each answer is stored with no link to the person who gave it.
Two ways to send a voice survey
- An open share link for customers or the public: post it anywhere and it closes at the number of answers you chose.
- Private email invitations for a known group, such as a team: results unlock only when enough of the group has answered.
Pricing
A flat price per link by the number of answers it takes, charged once when it goes live. No subscription.
